During the annual service visit, the filters of the heat recovery ventilation unit are replaced and the service technician brings an extra set of new filters. You then replace this extra set yourself. We recommend replacing the filters every six months, so 6 months after our visit.

This check checks whether the small channels inside the exchanger do not contain dirt, whether the fans are clean and can rotate 'freely' for proper operation of the unit. The installer might will also clean the exchanger and fans when necessary. In addition, the connection of the condensation drain should carefullybe checked to prevent any problems with leakage and unpleasant odors.
During this check, the sensors in the heat recovery ventilation unit will also be checked and it will be checked whether the various ventilation settings are correct for the best operation of the unit. If this is not the case, the service technician could adjust this on site.
The installer can check the software running on the device. If this is an outdated version, he can update it and ensure that all settings are set again so that the device functions at its best.
A ventilation system does not only consist of a ventilation unit. The ventilation ducts and ventilation valves are very important for the proper functioning of your device.
